Simply Business is a leading digital insurance broker, providing cover for over one million small businesses and self-employed professionals.
The Challenge
Simply Business had recently invested in a new CDP, BlueConic, which was not yet in active use. Within the eCRM team, there was a clear opportunity to leverage BlueConic to simplify audience creation and management, while also enabling a shift towards more efficient campaign execution. Although Salesforce Marketing Cloud was already in place, the setup relied heavily on disconnected single automations. Lacking the internal capacity to activate BlueConic and modernise their campaigning approach, Simply Business needed to move fast and smart to meet ambitious growth targets.
Our Solution
We embedded dedicated technical specialists within the Simply Business team to lead the migration, rebuild, and optimisation of their CRM programme. This team worked in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring a fast and focused migration.

- Rebuilt 42 segments in BlueConic along with the associated connections, SFMC data extensions and automations.
- Replaced 87 single automations with 16 multi-step journeys in Journey Builder
- Refreshed email templates and added dynamic content.
- Scoped and launched new triggered emails.
